Last updated: October 2, 2026
1. Who is responsible
This Privacy Policy explains how Rumbo AI, Inc. (Delaware file no. 10699507, 169 Madison Ave, New York, NY 10016, USA; guido@rumbocorp.com) collects, uses and shares personal information when you visit rumbo-ai.com or use the Rumbo platform (the “Service”).
2. Information we collect
- Account and contact information: name, work email, company, role, phone number if you provide it.
- Billing information: billing address, tax ID, plan and payment history. Card details are collected and stored by our payment processors (including dLocal GO), not by Rumbo.
- Customer Data you upload or connect: emails, quote requests, rate sheets, shipment and contact details of your customers and suppliers. We process this data on your behalf and under your instructions.
- Usage and device data: log data, IP address, browser type, pages visited, actions in the product, and cookies or similar technologies.
- Communications: messages you send to us, including support requests.
3. How we use information
- To provide, operate and secure the Service, including AI-assisted processing of Customer Data you choose to upload.
- To manage your account, billing and payments.
- To respond to requests and provide support.
- To improve the Service, develop new features and understand how it is used, using aggregated or de-identified data where possible.
- To send service notices and, with your consent where required, product updates and marketing. You can opt out of marketing at any time.
- To comply with legal obligations and enforce our Terms.
We do not sell personal information. We do not use Customer Data to train models that are shared with other customers.
4. Legal bases (where applicable)
Where data protection laws such as the GDPR apply, we process personal information on the basis of performance of a contract, our legitimate interests (operating and improving the Service, security, fraud prevention), compliance with legal obligations, and consent where required.
5. How we share information
- Service providers that help us operate the Service under confidentiality obligations: cloud hosting, databases, email delivery, analytics, customer support tools, AI model providers, and payment processors such as dLocal GO.
- Professional advisers (lawyers, accountants, auditors) when needed.
- Legal and safety: to comply with law, respond to lawful requests, or protect rights, safety and property.
- Business transfers: in a merger, acquisition or sale of assets, subject to this Policy.
6. International transfers
Rumbo is based in the United States and uses providers in the United States and other countries. When we transfer personal information from other jurisdictions, we rely on appropriate safeguards such as standard contractual clauses where required.
7. Retention
We keep account and billing information for as long as your account is active and as required for tax, accounting and legal purposes. Customer Data is retained while your subscription is active and for 30 days after termination so you can export it, after which it is deleted or de-identified, except where backups or legal obligations require longer retention.
8. Security
We use technical and organizational measures appropriate to the risk, including encryption in transit, access controls and logging. No system is completely secure; if you believe your account has been compromised, contact guido@rumbocorp.com.
9. Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, delete or export your personal information, to object to or restrict certain processing, and to withdraw consent. To exercise these rights, email guido@rumbocorp.com. We will respond within the time required by applicable law. If you are an employee, customer or supplier of one of our Customers, we may redirect your request to that Customer, who controls that data.
Residents of Argentina: the Agencia de Acceso a la Información Pública, in its role as the controlling authority of Law 25,326, is responsible for handling complaints regarding non-compliance with personal data protection rules.
10. Cookies
We use strictly necessary cookies to run the Service and, where permitted, analytics cookies to understand site usage. You can control cookies through your browser settings.
11. Children
The Service is for businesses and is not directed to children under 18. We do not knowingly collect information from children.
12. Changes
We may update this Policy. We will post the new version here with a new “Last updated” date and notify account holders of material changes by email.
